Estate Vineyards

The Amavi Cellars partners own blocks of grapes in Pepper Bridge Vineyard, Seven Hills Vineyard, Les Collines Vineyard and Goff Vineyard.  We have long-term contracts on a handful of other blocks as well. 

Starting with the 2005 vintage, our vines are 100% estate, 100% Certified Sustainable, and 100% Walla Walla Valley.  (Exception:  2008 vintage for Semillon),

"Sustainable" is not an abstract term.  Sustainable practices include the way we preserve and protect the land, water, and air, and how we responsibly interact with employees and local communities.  We are monitored by a variety of organizations, including the IOBC, Salmon Safe, and LIVE.

We use approximately 50 acres of vines for each vintage.  All grapes are picked and sorted by hand.
