Throughout the year, we explore the irresistible side of wine by matching our estate wines with nostalgic, sweet, and savory snacks you know and love.

From gourmet popcorn and artisan chocolates to jelly beans, ice cream, and more, each experience highlights how dynamic and surprising wine pairings can be. Whether you're discovering a new favorite combination or simply enjoying a lighthearted tasting, Snack N Sip offers a fresh, flavorful way to experience Amavi wines.

Offered in Walla Walla, Woodinville, and Vancouver on select weekends throughout the year.

Sensory Tasting Experience

Discover wine in a more meaningful way with our Sensory Experience Tasting at Amavi Cellars. Led by Director of Hospitality Stephanie Warner, this immersive two-hour tasting is designed to deepen your understanding of how we perceive wine.

Through guided exercises and intentional exploration, you’ll engage your senses of sight, aroma, and taste to uncover the layers, structure, and nuances within each glass.

This experience goes beyond a traditional tasting—inviting you to slow down, focus, and build confidence in identifying flavors, textures, and balance. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into how vineyard, varietal, and winemaking choices shape what you experience.

Whether you’re new to wine or looking to refine your palate, the Sensory Experience offers an engaging and educational approach to tasting.

For the entire month, we will be accepting new school supplies in lieu of tasting fees.

Simply bring any new school supplies to donate, and in exchange, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting.

All supplies collected will be donated to schools in Walla Walla, College Place and Milton-Freewater, helping students start the school year off right.

Sip the Trio: A Progressive Tasting Showdown returns for its second year, bringing together Amavi Cellars, Pepper Bridge Winery, and Caprio Cellars for an afternoon of wine, food, and friendly competition in the heart of Walla Walla wine country.

This progressive tasting experience invites guests to travel between all three tasting rooms, enjoying a featured wine and expertly paired bite at each stop. Every pairing is thoughtfully designed to showcase the connection between food and wine while highlighting the unique style of each winery.

As the experience unfolds, guests will have the chance to decide which pairing deserves the title of Sip the Trio Champion. At the final stop, cast your vote for your favorite pairing of the day. The winning winery will earn bragging rights, and the winning recipe will be shared so you can recreate the experience at home.

Expect an afternoon filled with exceptional wines, creative culinary pairings, beautiful winery settings, and plenty of memorable moments along the way.

Lamb Bordelaise with shallots, thyme, parsley, and bone marrow, served alongside a fondant potato and a touch of creamy spinach.
