Discover wine in a more meaningful way with our Sensory Experience Tasting at Amavi Cellars. Led by Director of Hospitality Stephanie Warner, this immersive two-hour tasting is designed to deepen your understanding of how we perceive wine.

Through guided exercises and intentional exploration, you’ll engage your senses of sight, aroma, and taste to uncover the layers, structure, and nuances within each glass.

This experience goes beyond a traditional tasting—inviting you to slow down, focus, and build confidence in identifying flavors, textures, and balance. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into how vineyard, varietal, and winemaking choices shape what you experience.

Whether you’re new to wine or looking to refine your palate, the Sensory Experience offers an engaging and educational approach to tasting.

At Amavi Cellars, we’ll be pouring a featured club wine with a tasty bite, just for the weekend. It’s a fun excuse to visit, sip something special, and enjoy the perks of being part of the club.

Here’s how it works:

If you're a member at any participating winery (or brewery), you’re in the club at all of them for the weekend. Start your adventure at Amavi Cellars to pick up your Southside Club Weekend wristband and a list of all the participating locations. Then head out and explore—it’s a great way to discover something new while enjoying tastings, special pours, and club savings everywhere you go.

This weekend always fills up fast, so be sure to make your tasting appointments early. Some places take walk-ins, others might need a reservation—best to check in with each spot before heading over.

What to Expect
At each stop, you’ll enjoy a featured wine paired with a perfectly matched bite-sized dish, designed to highlight the harmony between food and wine. As you make your way through all three destinations, your palate becomes the judge.
